"...Your Voice Matters..."
Are you experiencing anxiety, stress or symptoms of depression? Do you feel empty, unfulfilled or defeated inside?
Therapy is all about your personal needs--do you need to
talk about the past? Would you like to discuss current obstacles? Family
conflict? I want to make our time together as productive (and as pleasant) as
possible.
Are you grieving the loss of a loved one or the end of a relationship? There
are many types of losses - I can help by offering a step-by-step Moving through
Grief program.
My goal is to create a compassionate, non-judgemental and nurturing environment. Let me empower you to make life-changing decisions.

Services
WOMEN’S ISSUES: Depression, anxiety, self-esteem, body image, life transitions, grief/loss, divorce, parenting, empty nest, relationships, marital conflict, sexual abuse/assault, trauma, any personal concerns.
MOVING THROUGH GRIEF PROGRAM: Grief is the normal and natural response to loss and no two people are alike in their emotional responses. Unresolved grief can have devastating effects on our relationships and on our physical, emotional and spiritual health. Healing is accomplished by discovering and completing undelivered communications.
SUPERVISION: Offered to MFT interns and those seeking licensure.
My Grief Support Groups provide a safe environment for you
to look at your old beliefs about dealing with loss, which losses have affected
your life, and take actions that will lead you to complete unresolved emotions
that may still be causing you pain.
It is an action-based group that involves reading and writing assignments
outlined in - "The Grief Recovery Handbook - 20th Anniversary
Expanded Edition".
The format (both group and individual) is 7 weeks; facilitated by me.
Did a death, divorce, or the end of a romantic relationship cause it? Or was it caused by any of the forty other losses that a person might experience such as moving, pet loss, or a change in finances? Regardless of the cause, you know how you feel and it probably isn’t good.
Grief is the normal and natural emotional response to loss, but most of the information we’ve learned about dealing with loss is intellectual. Although my Grief Support Groups involve some educational elements, effective healing deals with your broken heart, which requires emotional support instead of intellectual explanations.
Myths about Grief:
Time heals all wounds
Replace the loss
Grieve alone
Be strong
Don't feel bad
Keep busy
The Moving through Grief Program teaches you how to heal from loss with supportive guidance every step of the way. Let me know if you are interested?
